Most Spectacular Solar Eclipse On 15 January, 2010.

The most spectacular solar eclipse of te third millennium that is between 2001 and 3000 is going to happen on the 15th of January, 2010 for it is the longest solar eclipse of the millennium and an annular eclipse. People across Africa and Asia will have a chance to see the total annular solar eclipse. NASA says that the eclipse will begin in Uganda in Central Africa and passes through Kenya, Somalia, Maldives, Srilanka, Southern India, Myanmar, and China. In India the eclipse begins at 11.00 AM ti 12.50 PM I.S.T. and will end between 3.00 PM to 3.30 PM I.S.T. In India the best view of the total solar eclipse would be at Rameshwaram,in Tamilnadu which lasts for about 10 minutes from 1.16 PM, Indian Standard Time. The rest of India will witness partial solar eclipse. The longest view of the total solar eclipse will be seen in Myanmar.
